Wednesday Walks Program
We are excited to offer Wednesday Walks to patients of Prime Care Family Health Team and the Milton community. Lack of movement caused by a sedentary lifestyle has real physical effects on the body and mind. Depression, anxiety, stress, and irritability, for example, are linked to not getting enough physical activity. This outdoor program aims to benefit physical health, maximize mood, and connect individuals with others in the community.
Times & Locations
Wednesday Walks is an ongoing wellness program that uses movement and social engagement to positively impact mood and stress levels for people of all ages. Using a different Milton trail or Halton Conservation Parks for each 1-hour weekly session, participants are encouraged to get outside, be social, and get moving.
Through our Wednesday Walks program, we explore many of the trail walks Milton has to offer, including Halton Conservation Parks (Rattlesnake Point, Kelso, Hilton Falls, etc.). For a complete list, including area maps, trail descriptions and outlines, please visit the link below.
